I am originally from Iraq but I grew up in England, United Kingdom, where I graduated with a Graphic Design Bachelor’s Degree from Kingston University London. I have a very supportive husband and am the proud mother of 4-year-old Yasmeen. During my studies I also worked and gained many different experiences which have helped in making me who I am today.

I later found an interest in teaching when I went overseas where I taught English to both adults and children. This was a very rewarding and a successful experience, however my most joyful experience was teaching young children. Although I was wanting to pursue a career in Early Years Education it was not the right time for me to change careers when I was back in the UK but my move to the UAE in 2014 opened up the opportunity for me to take the next step in my new career and soon after moving I was offered a position as a Foundation stage 1 teacher on training. This experience reassured me and showed me that this is the right career path for me. I am currently studying for my EYE Cache Level 3 Diploma with EYES, Dubai and am due to graduate in March 2017 which I am very excited about.

As a teacher I truly believe that each child is unique and has to be given the freedom to play and learn in a safe, clean and loving environment. I believe in teaching children good values and skills which will allow them to be successful and respectful future members of society.

So putting together my creative background, the knowledge and experience I have gained as an Early Years Educator and the passion I have, I strive to plan fun and meaningful days for my class with each child’s interest and needs in mind as I believe each child learns in their own way. I make sure that my children are first happy and settled and work on any barriers that may affect the child’s development so your child can get the most out of their days with me at Bumble Bee Nursery. I am looking forward to meeting you and your child and working in partnership to play a positive part in shaping your child’s bright future.
